William Branham saw a vision of a little boy being raised from the dead. In the vision, he saw what the young boy looked like, right down to his hair style and his eye colour.
The Tragic Scene in Finland
Two years later, Brother Branham was in Finland when he came upon the scene of a deadly car crash that had killed two children. One of the children had been ejected from the car and hit a tree, crushing his brain. The car rolled over the other child, and he was lying dead underneath some coats.
Branham’s companions went over to look at the little boy and came back crying. They tried to convince Branham to go see for himself, but he declined because he had a son nearly the same age. Finally, when Branham summoned the courage to see the little boy, his heart broke. When he turned to leave, he felt a hand on his shoulder as if to prevent him from leaving the scene. The child had been dead about 30 minutes.
The Vision Fulfilled
Something made Branham take a second look at the boy and then ask someone to remove the coat from the boy’s lifeless body. At that moment, the Lord replayed in his mind the vision he had seen in Georgia of a little boy being raised from the dead. It was the same boy lying on the ground! Branham then knelt down beside the boy just as he had seen himself do in the vision.
He prayed, “Lord, God of heaven and earth, over in the homeland. You showed me this vision while passing through Georgia one night. I pray to thee Lord God, that now You will confirm the word so they might know that You are still the Lord Jesus and that Finland would know that You are the resurrection from the dead.” With that, Brother Branham laid his hands on the lifeless boy and called the spirit of death to give the boy back.
Immediately, the little boy jumped up screaming and running around. He was raised from the dead, and his broken bones healed—all in an instant!
“And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.” Joel 2:28
