Do you believe that Christians should be the leaders in government, the music and movie industry, the business world, academia, and basically all areas of society?
Genesis 1:26-28 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Do you feel a twinge of defeat when you observe that your fellow Christians are not leaders in different sectors of this world? Why don’t we see Christians at the helm of affairs, controlling the different industries? Sure, some Christians are influential, but why are unbelievers the major rulers in world affairs? Should we strive to take over control from them?

What is the Scripture’s Stand on the ‘Dominion Mandate’?
Psalm 115:16 says, “The heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.”
Psalm 8:4-6 What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,…
Man was given dominion, originally, over the birds of the air, the grass of the field, and all the works of God’s hands.
God spoke to King Nebuchadnezzar, a pagan king, about the dominion mandate. God had given dominion to several kingdoms, and all of them were to rule during different periods until the Stone Kingdom arose.
Daniel 2:36-43 “This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation. You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory, and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all-you are the head of gold. Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things… it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay,…
Daniel 2:44-45 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

How the Mandate Works
This is how the Dominion mandate works: when the dominion mandate kicks in concerning a particular category or kingdom, the Lord gives them power and authority. Babylon was the first of these different kingdoms and it had a king called Nebuchadnezzar. Also Belshazzar. Then there was Persia who was ruled by Cyrus, Darius, Ahasuerus (Xerxes), Artaxerxes, etc. Greece led by Alexander the Great and his 4 generals passed the baton to Rome under the Caesars and from there, here we are today! Iron strong and clay weak.
These were all kings that ruled over other kings – Kings’ of kings. They had their kingdoms extended and they were in control. God put them there. For a time.
Daniel 2:20-22 …Let the name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to him. He changes times and seasons, deposing some kings and establishing others. He gives wisdom to the wise; he imparts knowledge to those with understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what is in the darkness, and light resides with him.
2 Chronicles 36:23 “This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: “The LORD God of the heavens has given to me all the kingdoms of the earth. He has appointed me to build for him a temple in Jerusalem in Judah. May the LORD your God energize you who belong to his people, so you may be able to go back there!””
THE MANDATE: Daniel 4:17 says the Most High is ruler over human kingdoms and gives them to whomever He wishes.
Jesus is the King of Kings during the Stone Kingdom’s dominion.
Has His time come?
