Life is too short, yet no one can tell it all.
The world is too small, yet no one can walk around it.
The day you were born, your story starts.
Your every action and inaction determines what kind of story you write.
Always bear in mind that the Father already has a laid down theme for your story.
He has a definite end that will benefit you and your generation, all to His glory.
Yet, He placed a pen in your hand to write it the way you please.
Why can’t they ask Me of the script? That’s how He feels.
With every page comes regret.
Things we do and wish to forget,
Yet, on the next page, such things come to reflect.
Over and over, we relive our fears and regrets,
Simply because we fail to ask the Author to show us the target.
Round and round, we go in cycles
That lead us back to the same spot,
Failing to understand the workings of the Father’s love.
Just like a treasure hunter working without a torch in darkness,
We keep stumbling and falling into all sorts of mess.
The Father being all thoughtful and loving,
Knowing we can’t make it in this present darkness,
Sends His son, Whose countenance shines
Brighter than any form of artificial brightness.
He gave us His light and chose to walk in our darkness,
Walking and stumbling into our every mess.
His life, He gave up for death to swallow.
His footprints became a manuscript for us to follow.
Now I can write my story without fear of tomorrow,
Because my Director is He who knows me, even to my shadow.
Remember, life is too short,
Because you have limited time to write your story.
The world is too small,
Because the one whom your story helps
Might just be your brother.
The day you are born again,
Your true story you begin to share.
Be wise and don’t push that day too far,
Because the end is near.
