My sister and I share the same name
But both of us do not have the same fame
She is more exalted (and physical)
I am less sought-after (and spiritual)
She attracts favours that lift and bring down
And has stolen many an eternal crown
She withers and falls, she can’t be kept in store
And at the end of the day, she will matter no more
Her charm is deceptive
Though her gaze is receptive
How outwardly gorgeous is her beauty
But void of the Spirit, it trades for the filthy
Oh, how I wish everyone would pursue only me
My alluring makeup that makes blemish free
They would learn where I’m sourced by the gentle and meek
The elixir of youth, the truly wise, daily seek
Come to me, young and old, I last forever…
