Not every calling comes wrapped in comfort.
Some come cloaked in mystery – the kind that makes a man live his prophecy.
He lay on his side for days uncounted, bearing Israel’s sin.
He cooked with ashes, shaved his head, drew cities on clay.
And when his beloved wife died, he wept in silence – a living parable of a nation’s grief.
Each act, a sermon. Each tear, a prophecy.
Some are called to speak His word; others are called to become it.
So when your road feels strange or heavy, remember Ezekiel’s call.
You might just be a sign in the hand of God.
