Thayer’s Definition:

What Is Intercession?

Intercession refers to ‘standing in the gap’ for a person, people, or a cause.

God’s people (not just prophets and priests) are to intercede!

James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
