We will sing the songs of Zion
We will sing to the tribe of Judah’s Lion
We will raise our voices to God’s worthy Lamb
In a spiritual song, a hymn or a psalm
We will praise Him because He is worthy
The one who redeemed us by offering His body
We will adore Him and extol His beauty
It is not only our pleasure but also our duty
We will come with praises before His presence
We lift them up like sweet-smelling incense
We will give praise to the one who sits on Heaven’s throne
We will give Him no cause to seek praises from a stone
His praises will flow from our hearts to our mouth
We will praise Him everywhere; East or West, North or South
Our praise of Him is not based on circumstances or emotion
We will praise Him in times of happiness, sadness, clarity or confusion
We will take the songs of the Lord to the ends of the earth
Songs that are laden with the power of the Holy Spirit’s breath
Songs that come from Zion – beyond Earth’s atmosphere
Songs that have been given to us as weapons for warfare
We will sing unto the Lord new songs
Songs from different tribes and tongues
We will sing to worship our Elohim
We will sing with the Cherubim and Seraphim,
The Elders, the angels – the host of heaven
The ones who worship Him ‘twenty-four/seven’
We will sing in the spirit and in our understanding
For both is what He is demanding
We will sing with rejoicing and good cheer
We will sing in awe and His fear
Lift up your voice and sing aloud
Whether you are alone or amidst a crowd
Lift up your song – the fruit of your lips
Sing to the one who your soul mercifully keeps
Sing aloud, shout and dance before Him unashamed
Let your praise of Him be sincere and unrestrained
For of all your praise, He is deserving
The only master we should all be serving
Sing! You who have been redeemed by His blood
Who He has saved from sin’s sticky mud
As our voices through all the earth ring
Singing the praises of the King of all kings
We declare that every knee will indeed bow
And every tongue will surely confess how
Jesus Christ is the one true Lord
And all this to the glory of God
We declare the certainty of Christ’s reign
We lift up the Holy and cast down the profane
We sing of the perfection and beauty of His law
The One who all must worship in reverent awe
As we sing and praise Him all our days
He comes to inhabit all our praise
Bondages are broken, and demons will flee
Freedom far beyond what our eyes can see
People turning to the Lord and rejecting sin
Healings happening on the outside and within
We behold the beauty of God’s holy Son
And the hordes of hell are put on the run
Darkness will be overcome by God’s light
As we come with Zion’s songs to fight
