WHAT WOULD CHRIST HAVE DONE?

When someone stumbles, weary and weak,
Do we guide them home or let them sink?
Should we cast them out to bear their shame,
Or help them rise in Christ’s name?

The church, a beacon of love and grace, Should reflect the kindness in Jesus’ face.
Yet too often, we judge with hearts of stone,
Forgetting the mercy we’ve been shown.

Jesus knelt, His words so clear,
To the woman trembling, bound by fear: “Go and sin no more,” He said with care, Restoring her hope, her soul laid bare.

But we condemn and turn away,
Leaving the fallen to go astray.
If the world shows love and the church does not,
How can they find the grace they’ve sought?

It’s love that mends, not scorn or blame, That lifts the lost and removes their shame.
Let’s ask ourselves, when grace feels undone,
In every moment—what would Christ have done?
