Will you now forget the goodness of your Maker?
Will you suddenly forget His never-ending, evergreen benefits?
Will you be quick to exalt your foes over the Ancient of Days?
Are you quick to forget that you belong to the King of Kings,
Are you forgetful of how the Faithfulness of your God has borne you on Eagle’s wings?
Are you quick to forget, no matter the turmoil, His praises to sing?
How soon you have forgotten all the victories you did not deserve!
How soon you have forgotten all the glories for which the Monarch has endless reserves!
How soon you have forgotten that His stories will only be yours when you wait and serve!
Do not discard the peace you have learned in your Father, or will you?
Do not now despise the lessons from your Maker, or will you?
Do not let discouragement or the other devils win, or will you?
You know the Great One will not leave you.
You know it is not in His nature to forsake His own.
You know – oh yes, you do – heard that He forgot His word.
