COMPLICATIONS DURING PREGNANCY:

Scenario 1: What would you do if a child of yours was hanging over the edge of a cliff while you held on desperately? Suddenly as you glance up, you can see a large rock tumbling down the mountainside towards you. If you let the child go, you can roll out of the path of the stone and will almost certainly lose your child. If you hold on, from what you see, you both will certainly lose your lives. Your loved ones will have lost you both so they and other bystanders all scream out, “You have to let the child go! You can father or give birth to another!”

What can possibly change this outcome?

1. Only a miracle?

2. What if you are all mistaken and have miscalculated the trajectory of the rock?

3. What if the boulder strikes an object on the way down and bounces off at an angle that doesn’t hurt any of you? How will you live with yourself and that knowledge?

4. Can you possibly drag the child up quickly and out the way?

5. Can we mistakenly give up even when there is hope? Have people ever erred over any life and death matter before?

What would you do?

More Scenarios on Abortion

Scenario 2: You took a child on a journey (willingly or unwillingly) with a destination in mind but due to no fault of yours, it fell over a cliff. A wife’s body is where this figurative cliff is. There are now life-risking health complications.

For example, an ectopic pregnancy – where a fertilised egg is outside the uterus (womb), most times embedded in the fallopian tube – will definitely kill the baby. If not removed, the mother may also not survive. The child is hanging over the cliff. Do you let it go to avoid the coming certain death or do you pray for a miracle?

Scenario 3: As a married or single person, you realize that a child you do not want or were not aware of calling is following you. This is due to how you got the child, your age, maybe education, finances, other children with you, or the inconvenience of explaining to people around you why you are a father or mother at this time without having a wedding celebration first.

The child is at no risk from a natural disaster. Is it okay for you to push a rock on the child or push it over the cliff? It is just coming along because you invited it. Even if you didn’t invite the child along and it crawled through a window, it is one of your children!

Is there a difference between a child that is at no risk at all on this trip and will only cause the parents an inconvenience, and a child who is at risk of killing itself and a parent?

Let me hear your thoughts!

Jeremiah 32:17 Oh, Lord GOD, You did indeed make heaven and earth by Your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for You!

Hebrews 12:6 And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Have umbilical cords been loosened before supernaturally? What of the dead coming to life? Is there anything too hard for God?
