Did you know that:
- “Three’ wise men did not visit Jesus as a child?
How so?
Scriptures say ‘wise men from the East’. They could have been 20 in number! ‘Three’ only comes in with the number of the types of gifts they presented. (Matthew. 2:1.7)
- Elijah did not go up in a chariot of fire?
Elijah went up in a whirlwind. The chariot of fire only separated him and Elisha. (2 Kings 2:11)
- Shepherds did not visit ‘baby Jesus’ during winter?
In fact, shepherds do not take their sheep out during winter. The cold could have killed them.
If these popularly held beliefs are false, why do we believe them?

The answer is easy – the power of repetition & imagery.
Many of these ideas became ingrained in your mind from picture books and TV Ads, and not because you read them from the Bible.
Still think you know the Bible?
It is wisdom to admit that you do not know as you ought to (1 Corinthians 8:2). This should keep you humble, seeking God with all your heart. As you hunger and thirst for the Truth, you will be filled.
Will you be among those who are without any form of lies & guile (Revelations 14:5)? Or will you be one whom when the prince of this world comes, he has something on?
The choice is yours…
Think… Have I studied scripture carefully and properly?
Read your Bible like your life depends on it, because it actually does.
