THE SHAKING OF THE EARTH AND OUR RESPONSE
As we approach the end of the ages, heaven and earth will shake. The Scriptures, like Haggai 2:6-7, describe this time of shaking, where the treasures of all nations will come in, and God will fill His house with glory. It is not a time for complacency or casualness; rather, it is a time for seeking the Lord and walking closely with Him.
Satan is also aware of this nearing of the end of the ages and tries to distract and confuse people, shifting their focus away from what is truly important. But as believers, we are not in darkness. We must remain awake, sober, and prepared, putting on the armour of light and casting off the works of darkness.
The millennial reign of Jesus is drawing near, and as the night gets darkest before dawn, there will be judgments and shakings as we round up ages. Our task is to establish strong foundations and live blamelessly and purely, shining as lights in a crooked and perverse generation.

Scriptures:
Haggai 2:6-7 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.”
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, 8 – “Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.”
Romans 13:11-14 – “Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”
Philippians 2:15 – “That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”
