A Message That Changed Everything
Pastor spoke on, then he stopped and said, “There must be someone here who is changing my message.” I sat there crying uncontrollably like a baby as he was hitting everything in my life spot on – from the people who had hurt me, to all I had been through because of cancer. I was prayed for by pastor and the prophetic team after the meeting. The summary of the words gotten was that God needed me to trust Him, have faith, and put in efforts to make my marriage work, as these will please the Lord.
The Struggle with Pain
The pains persisted; I could not sit or stand at some point without being very uncomfortable during church meetings. One day, I booked an appointment to see pastor to tell him what was troubling me. When I entered the office, he asked me what the doctor had said, and when I told him, he asked me what the prophetic team had told me. When I told him what had been said, he expounded on the words, encouraged me, and prayed for me.
Learning Obedience and Faith
I began to come to church more consistently and I dedicated my Saturdays to the Lord in the children’s meeting. I had to agree to the disciple’s way of life, and start obeying all that I was being taught. It was not easy, but I began to see more good in my husband and the Lord began to open my eyes to the lies the devil was telling me.
Transformation and Healing
I saw my mistakes and became willing to correct them; I needed to do a lot of repenting, unlearning, and relearning with humility. As I continued attending meetings, I understood what it meant to have faith as the pains and hotness in my breast did not stop at once, but faded gradually. I was prayed for by my brethren many times when I came to church with pain. Pastor also prayed for me in his office one of those days and the chronic pains on my lower back and neck disappeared.
