I am not out of my mind when I bless my nation. I live by the scriptures, and Jeremiah 29:7 tells me to seek the peace of the city I live in, and pray to the Lord for it: for in its peace, shall be my peace. Therefore, blessed be the fruit from my land and all the people that labour for her.
I am not out of my mind when I pray for my leaders. 1st Timothy 2 urges me to pray for them in order for my country to have peace, and I like my nation enough to pray for its progress. Blessed be all those in authority. May the spirit of wisdom rest upon them.
I am not out of my mind, or visionless, when I say I don’t want to japa because I love my country. It does not mean I can not visit any country outside mine. It only means I choose to build my nation rather than leave it to debilitation. Blessed is her economy and all who invest in it.
I love my country, and I am proud to be a Nigerian because I have a Father who is heavily vested in the affairs of the land. The prophecies spoken over this nation spur me on to believe that even though Nigeria is known for many negative reasons, more and more, it is and will increasingly be known for greatness.
I have seen this come to pass, and there is more to come because when my Father says a thing, it will come to be.
For yes, He causes His streams to flow, even in the driest of lands. That’s how I know I am not out of my mind.
