I wanted to make my writings public, but I was too introverted to even try. I made a few attempts here and there, but I felt the world wasn’t ready for my writings or wouldn’t be able to appreciate them. I enjoyed reading my own work; I was my own audience.
I never intended to join any community of writers or even sorcerers. My desire was to be a standalone witch and become all-powerful. I imagined that when the time was right and I could finally tap into the power I believed I already possessed, I would want to be alone.
MY DELIVERANCE
One of the things Brother Michael, one of our church leaders, wrote on my phone when he first met me was, “Draw near to me and I’ll draw near to you.” If you’ve been paying attention during our meetings, you’ll notice that Pastor has been quoting this Scripture in almost every meeting recently.
I began to realise that the closer I draw to God, the closer He draws to me. His light also begins to shine on the dark areas of my life.
As we know, English speakers often use the expression “being in the dark” to describe ignorance. The Lord’s light is now shining on me, helping me recall things I had completely forgotten. If you had asked me last month about my major struggles in life, I would have mentioned depression and infirmities. I had no idea that this other side of my past existed.
How My Deliverance Began
The Holy Spirit reminded me of when my deliverance began. On November 16, 2024, I sent Pastor a message about something the Lord had been speaking to me about. In summary, I had remained attached to my late dad and had failed to recognise the Father God had given me.
My deliverance began when I sent that message. I’d like to mention that when I rededicated my life to Christ, I immediately stopped everything related to witchcraft. In fact, it felt as though my brain had been wiped clean. However, I struggled to understand how I could have done everything I had done in the past without carrying some spiritual consequences.
On November 22, we had an all-night meeting at church. Earlier that day, Pastor met with a group of members from the music team, of which I am a part. During the meeting, he spoke about praying for our deliverance from witchcraft and rebellion that night.
As Pastor continued speaking, I began to cry. It suddenly hit me that I had been operating as a witch because of my constant disobedience and rebellion. I felt helpless and kept asking the Lord to help me.
In my mind, I kept praying that I was scared and did not know how to obey everything I was hearing. The instructions felt overwhelming, and I feared I would forget them. I wrote down my prayers in my book and continued listening to Pastor.

The All-Night Meeting
When we began singing at the start of the meeting, I had the impression that I should kneel. Even before the meeting started, I had sensed that I would need to kneel whenever we prayed that night.
At first, I did not kneel because I did not understand the impression. “Where will I even kneel? This technical area where I am seated is tight,” I thought to myself.
After a while, I stepped away from my seat, made some room, and knelt. It did not feel like much because the prayer ended almost immediately.
Later, when Pastor led us in repentance and renunciation, I felt the impression to kneel again. This time, I obeyed quickly. I did not dare to disobey, especially after all the rebukes and frightening warnings during the meeting.
As Pastor led us in renouncing things, my hand began to shake. I was already begging God not to let me react, but I also prayed that He would not listen to that request. I needed deliverance from whatever was affecting me, even though I did not fully understand what it was at the time.
The Experience During Prayer
As we renounced rebellion, I suddenly felt overwhelmed and began screaming. It felt as though I had a “strong head,” and I kept placing my hand on my head as if I were trying to break it. Pastor continued leading us in renunciation while I screamed and moved about uncontrollably.
At first, I did not understand what was happening. Then I began having impressions of demons. I had an impression that seven spirits were residing in me.
While I was in pain, screaming and twisting my body, I could hardly believe what I was experiencing. “Seven spirits? Me? Where? How? When?” I kept wondering. Remember, at that point, I did not know that I had unresolved issues from my past.
Then the Holy Spirit began highlighting each one to me. Each time one was cast out, I heard a loud countdown in my head. I thank God for Pastor, who continued leading the prayer until all seven had been cast out.
To be continued…
