So, what else should the Christian’s role be concerning politics and related matters?
#2. Obey Those in Government:
1 Peter 2:13-14, 17 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to the king as the supreme authority, or to governors as those sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right. Treat everyone with high regard: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.
Titus 3:1-2 Remind the believers to submit to rulers and authorities, to be obedient and ready for every good work, to malign no one, and to be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone.
Obeying the government includes fulfilling civic responsibilities like paying taxes, voting, etc.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor. Romans 13:6-7

Christians are to participate in the political system by obeying the authorities that are in place. Provided that what they tell you to do is not displeasing to God; provided it is not a sin, obey it. Daniel, Nehemiah, Mordecai, David, the Lord Jesus, provided examples of this constantly. Imitate those who do what is good.
Or do you think differently?
